TRAVELLING FROM THE SOUTH:
Take the A9 north from Perth to Inverness. Turn off the A9 (north of Aviemore) onto the A95 signpost to Carrbridge, Grantown on Spey, Elgin. Follow Grantown-on-Spey signs and after 5 miles turn right at the sign for Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge. Entering Boat of Garten look for the Church on the left hand side. Beyond that is Moorfield Guest House and opposite there is a lane leading between two houses (one gable end onto the road, the other an older two storey house), this lane leads to Applegrove Cottage.

TRAVELLING FROM THE NORTH:
Take the A9 south from Inverness towards Perth. Turn off left at the A938 signpost to Carrbridge. At the Carrbridge Hotel bear right with the road and continue through the village, past Landmark on the right and on for several miles until you reach a 'T' junction with the A95. Turn left signposted to Grantown-on-Spey; after approx 1 mile turn right at the sign for Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge. Entering Boat of Garten look for the Church on the left hand side. Beyond that is Moorfield Guest House and opposite there is a lane leading between two houses (one gable end onto the road, the other an older two storey house), this lane leads to Applegrove Cottage.
