Applegrove Cottage was completely refurbished in 2007 when it was rewired, replumbed, re-roofed and had a new kitchen, bathroom and double glazed windows installed.

It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard with deep pile carpets in the lounge and bedrooms, laminate flooring in the kitchen and tiled floor in the bathroom. Extremely well insulated, Applegrove Cottage is suitable for use at any time of the year and many guests have commented on how warm and comfortable they found the property.

The accommodation is all on one level and comprises:

• Front hallway with hanging space for coats
• Spacious Kitchen/Dining Room with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, all kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery
• Lounge, a bright, comfortably furnished and carpeted room with French windows to the garden, multifuel stove with coal and wood provided, two cream leather three-seater couches with recliners (suitable for use as occasional beds if required), and television
• Double Bedroom with two windows overlooking the garden, double bed, wardrobe with drawer space
• Twin Bedroom again overlooking the garden, twin beds, wardrobe with drawer space
• Bathroom, fully tiled with toilet, basin and bath with electric shower above
